LTCFs and COVID-19

Creating a community, Q&A, strategies, updates, and more.

Residents of LTCFs remain in the highest risk category for Covid-19 complications including severe illness that requires hospitalization and even death.  We know that being up to date with vaccination reduces this risk by 70-80%.  Early treatment with antivirals and monoclonal antibodies can further reduce the risk of severe outcomes.

Capsid Consulting has continued to help LTCFs navigate through the complexities of Covid-19 vaccination requirements, treatment, and masking ordinances.  We have put in place protocols and procedures to help ensure the safety of residents and staff at LTCFs and to make sure they are compliant with local DPH guidance.  Capsid Consulting allows LTCFs to have the flexibility to adjust to the ever-evolving data and changes in the federal and state guidelines.
